Eric S. Maskin is the Adams University Professor and Professor of Economics and Mathematics at Harvard University. His research spans game theory, contract theory and social choice. In 2007, he shared the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for laying the foundations of mechanism design theory.
